The recent science fiction action thriller ‘Pichaikkaran 2’ will have its digital premiere soon. Pichaikkaran 2: Anti Bikili is a Tamil movie directed by Vijay Antony and serves as a sequel to the 2016 film ‘Pichaikkaran’. The film will come out on Disney+Hotstar on the 18th of June. It will be available to watch in these languages: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
The screenplay is written by Vijay Antony, K Palani, Paul Antony and this is the directorial debut of Vijay. The cast includes actors like Vijay Antony, Kavya Thapar, Dev Gill, John Vijay, Hareesh Peradi, Yogi Babu, Radha Ravi and many others. Pichaikkaran 2 had its theatrical release on the 19th of May and received mixed reviews. But it was a box office success. Vijay Anthony has even edited the movie and given the music for it and does a pretty good job there.
The film tells the story of a business tycoon who is getting targeted by assassins for his huge wealth. There is a beggar who is searching for his sister who is lost. Money connects the two people together and their stories are woven together. The movie has double roles for Vijay Anthony and the plot is somewhat similar to the classic Amitabh Bachchan film ‘Don’. It is definitely a formula commercial film but definitely worth a watch.
