Taapsee Pannu‘s Looop Lapeta has finally got a release date. It was announced around a month back by Netflix but we were not sure of a release date.
A few days back we got the news that Taapsee’s Haseen Dillruba was the most-watched Hindi film on Netflix. It even surpassed Sooryavanshi by a little margin. To continue her association with the platform this science fiction film is there for us.
Looop Lapeta is an official remake of the German thriller “Run Lola Run” that was released in 1998.
Apart from Taapsee Pannu, the film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin and Shreya Dhanwanthary in the lead roles.
Tahir Raj Bhasin is also getting featured in Netflix’s next action drama “Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein” which will be released on 14th January.
Shreya Dhanwanthary is a highly capable actor who has proved herself in the role of journalist Sucheta Dalal in Scam 1992.
The direction of the film will be helmed by Aakash Bhatiya. He is better known for directing a few episodes of Prime Video’s Inside Edge.
Looop Lapeta is said to revolve around a love story with a Science-Fiction flavour.
Regardless, fans will have to wait for less than a month to enjoy the film on Netflix. It will be released on 4th February.
