Tara Sutaria and Arjun Kapoor starrer ‘Ek Villain Returns’ has now resumed shoot. The film is a sequel to the 2014 action-thriller box office hit ‘Ek Villain’ starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh. The film had begun shooting in March and has now started its next schedule.
Helmed by Mohit Suri, who also directed the first part, ‘Ek Villain Returns’, is set in a completely different storyline and has no links to the previous instalment. Mohit is known for his films like ‘Murder 2,’ ‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Awarapan’, ‘Malang’ and more.
Apart from Tara and Arjun the film also stars John Abraham and Disha Patani in lead roles. Both Arjun and Disha have worked with Suri before in ‘Half Girlfriend’ and ‘Malang’ respectively.
The official announcement about the shoot getting back on track features an image of director Mohit Suri looking all focused with his mask on and the film’s clapboard.

Meanwhile, Tara Sutaria took to her Instagram story to post a black and white photo of a mic and that probably suggests two things. One, that she has even started dubbing for the film and two, we might a catch a song in the film in her melodious voice. For those who don’t know Tara is a professional singer and has sung in operas and competitions.
Along with the picture she wrote, “Days spent behind this are days well spent! Back to filming Villain 2 and the villainy has only just begun!
‘Ek Villain Returns’ is scheduled for release in theatres on 11th February 2022 as announced by the makers on the same day this year.

Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor through Balaji Motion Pictures and Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar through T-Series have produced the film.
