Team Brahmastra to Reveal Glimpse of “Isha” on Alia Bhatt’s Birthday?

By Binged Bureau - Mar 14, 2022 @ 07:03 am
Team Brahmastra to Reveal Glimpse of “Isha” on Alia Bhatt’s Birthday?

If there’s one Bollywood magnum Opus we’ve all been waiting for years..that’s Brahmastra. The team finally revealed the first motion poster of the film on December 15,2021 with a FINAL release date, i.e. September 9,2022.

The launch was held in Mumbai at a grand event, followed by the launch of Telugu motion Poster at Hyderabad. Director Ayan Mukherji also revealed that more teasers, posters and promotional materials shall follow.

The hottest news out of the Dharma Productions oven is that, exactly after three months of the launch of first motion poster, the team is all set to reveal “Glimpse of Isha”, played by Alia Bhatt on 15th March, coinciding with her 29th birthday. It’s also reported that unlike “The Shiva” motion poster, this exclusive video will have a grand digital launch.

“It’s a birthday special video to launch Alia’s Isha from Brahmastra. The audience would get a glimpse into her world in the film and unlike the first motion poster, this one might even have some actual visuals from Brahmastra,” revealed a source close to the development, reports Pinkvilla.

“Isha plays a pivotal role in Shiva’s journey and her track is a lot more than a love interest. All the aspects around Isha have been kept under wraps for now, and will be out closer to release,” the source added. It is said that the team of Brahmastra, Dharma Productions and Disney are going all out in their capacity to promote this magnum opus which is touted as a trilogy. Multiple character introduction teasers, posters and trailers are already cut out to maintain the hype and momentum around the film which is already sky-high. If reports are to go by the official Trailer of Brahmastra would also drop some time in July.

Touted as the costliest Bollywood film till date and mounted on a whopping budget of Rs. 350 crores, Brahmastra is undoubtedly one of the three big fishes (RRR, KGF2, Brahmastra) yet to release this year. Bank-rolled by Dharma Productions, and co-produced by Disney and DNEG, the film features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia in key roles. Actor Shahrukh Khan is also roped in for a key-cameo in the film, which will officially make the film Shahrukh Khan’s return to big screens after Zero Debacle.

While Alia Bhatt is currently riding high on the blockbuster success of her latest release Gangubai Kathiawadi, that has already raced past 100 crores at the box office beating every movie release in its way, she also has the most awaited Pan Indian release of the year: RRR in her kitty. Interestingly Ranbir Kapoor also returns to the movies after four years. But he already has YRF’s Shamshera to release in the month of July.

According to credible sources, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherji are also co-producing the trilogy. It’s also expected that the second part will soon go on floors this time next year with its basic script and screenplay already locked. We can’t totally wait for Alia Bhatt’s look from Brahmastra knowing how she absolutely smashed it in Gangubai Kathiawadi.
