The teaser of Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas is now out. The actress is running a streak of box office failures as the last 6 of her movies are either disasters or at max, flops. It also includes Chandramukhi 2 whose box office run is going on but the reception is totally negative.
Regardless, the teaser of Tejas is looking promising as the sole place where VFX looks good is the sunglasses of Kangana Ranaut. Let us remind you though that the first time we saw some attention grabbing VFX on sunglasses was in Ranjhanaa back in 2013.
But the writing or let’s say narration in the trailer is really really cringe. In films like Sardar Udham, we saw extremely subtle yet powerful patriotism that forces you to rethink the way you “act” for and “serve” the nation. However, the war mongering in this teaser is like random rhyme which is meant to create waves of patriotism that has been in use since ages.
According to this teaser and this teaser alone, we fail to see any innovation whatsoever in the film. Tejas is getting released this October 27th. Let’s wait to see how this film actually comes out to be. We hope it is a great film and not something like Dhaakad.
