After the resounding success of ‘ATM’, ZEE5 is back with another Telugu series – this time a serial killer drama. The series is titled ‘Puli Meka‘, and its first teaser will be launched tomorrow by none other than Telugu star Ram Charan. ZEE5 has also revealed the release date of ‘Puli Meka’, and it will premiere on February 24 on its platform.
The most interesting aspect of ‘Puli Meka’ is that the series comes from the pen of stellar Telugu writer, Kona Venkat. He’s also produced the series, under his banner, Kona Film Corporation. ‘Puli Meka’ will mark the digital debut of Kona Venkat, along with the digital debut of both its lead actors, Aadi Saikumar and Lavanya Tripathi.
Aadi Saikumar and Lavanya Tripathi play police officers in ‘Puli Meka’, on the hunt for an unhinged serial killer. It’s a race against time for them, as the body count goes up, and the serial killer has started targeting their own colleagues. Raja Chembolu, Siri Hanumath Suman, Goparaju Ramana, Spandana Palli and Srinivas, among others, form the rest of the cast.
‘Puli Meka’ is written by Kona Venkat and Venkatesh Kilaru, and is directed by Kona’s mentee, K Chakravarthy Reddy. Stay tuned to Binged.com for the teaser of ‘Puli Meka’, which will be out tomorrow. ‘Puli Meka’ premieres on ZEE5 on 24th February.
