Disney Plus Hotstar had announced an interesting lineup of Telugu titles on the occasion of Ugadi last month. One of those Telugu titles is all set to premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar this April. Titled ‘Save The Tigers’, it is a Telugu web series. The series premieres on Disney Plus Hotstar on 27th April, 2023. ‘Save The Tigers’ Season 1 will comprise of 6 episodes in all.
One would be justified to conclude that “Save The Tigers’ is a wild life documentary. But in actuality, it is a buddy comedy, centring on three married men who are henpecked and harassed by their dominant wives. The ‘tigers’ who need saving in the series are these three henpecked husbands. The story of ‘Save The Tigers’ revolves around how the three men find kinship due to their shared sorrow of ‘wifely’ harassment.
The three henpecked husbands in ‘Save The Tigers’ are played by actors Priyadarshi, Krishna Chaitanya and Abhinav Gotam. Pavani Gangireddy, Harsh Vardhan, Sujatha, play pivotal roles in the series. Actor Teja Kakumanu turns director for ‘Save The Tigers’. It is written by Pradeep Advaitham and produced by Mahi V Raghav.
The short IMDb synopsis for ‘Save The Tigers’ reads, “Save The Tigers is a satirical drama following three couples. The story revolves around three frustrated husbands who meet by chance and how their rants over their marital problems set off a series of crazy events.”
