Asvins is a psychological horror film, set in the backdrop of Hindu mythology, when the celestial beings, the twins Ashwini Kumars, granted the boon of eternal life to a youth. The film centres on paranormal activities taking place in an ancient mansion, leading to the death of team members investigating the mysterious happenings. Team leader Arjun (Vasanth Ravi) must reunite the two statues of Ashwini Kumars to save the rest of his team.
The film is written and directed by Tarun Teja, in his directorial debut. Besides Vasanth Ravi, ‘Asvins’ stars Vimala Raman, Muralidaran, Saraswathi Menon, Udhaya Deep and Simran Pareek in critical roles.
