The second half of November is proving to be a gold mine for Indian film enthusiasts. It’s as if the flood gates have opened up, bringing with it a deluge of Indian film releases on OTT platforms. A number of films that were waiting in the wings have announced release dates on OTT.
We bring you a list of ten Indian movies that will release on Indian OTT in the next ten days. Several of these are direct to digital releases, while a few are arriving on various streaming platforms after a run at the theatres.

1. Dhamaka – 19th November, Hindi, Netflix
Kartik Aaryan plays down-on-luck TV presenter Arjun Pathak in this Ram Madhvani thriller film. He gets a chance to get back into the limelight when a terrorist engages with him live on air, threatening to blow up bombs in the city. Will he put aside his moral values for the sake of professional success, or will he do the right thing?
2. Cash – 19th November, Hindi, Disney Plus Hotstar
A satirical comedy on demonetisation. Amol Parashar plays a hustler in the film who hits upon the idea of earning a quick buck by helping people launder their hidden stash and convert it into the new currency by illegal means. His plans go awry when a dreaded gangster seeks his help.
3. Pon Manickavel – 19th November, Tamil, Disney Plus Hotstar
An action thriller, starring Prabhu Deva, along with Nivetha Pethuraj, late director J Mahendran and Suresh Menon. Helmed by AC Mugil Chellappan. Prabhu Deva plays a dashing police officer in the film, who doesn’t anyways play by the rules to catch the bad guys.
4. Churuli – 19th November, Malayalam, SonyLIV
Lijo Jose Pellissery’s (of Jallikattu, Ee.Ma.Yau, Angamaly Diaries fame) next offering, Churuli falls into the genre of science fiction and suspense mystery. It centres on two cops who enter the village of Churuli to capture a notorious criminal, but get stuck in a time loop even as eerie mysteries unfold around them.
5. Most Eligible Bachelor – 19th November, Telugu, Netflix & Aha Video
A romantic comedy starring Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde. Akhil Akkineni plays a US-returned bachelor in the hunt for a wife. Alas, the girl he falls for – a stand up comedian (Pooja Hegde) – is most disinterested in returning his affections.
6. Adbhutam – 19th November, Telugu, Disney Plus Hotstar
A romantic and sci-fi drama that stars Teja Sajja (Zombie Reddy), Shivani Rajashekar, Satya, Tulasi, Mirchi Kiran, Shivaji Raja and Mandava Sai Kumar in pivotal roles. The romantic part of the film is interwoven with science fiction and fantasy, making it a unique offering in Indian cinema.
7. Drushyam 2 – 25th November, Telugu, Prime Video
The Telugu version of Mohanlal’s Drishyam 2, sequel to the successful Drushyam. It has Venkatesh, Meena, Nadhiya, Naresh, Kruthika, Esther Anil reprising their roles from the first part. The film is directed by Jeethu Joseph, director of the original Drishyam and Drishyam 2.
8. Chhorii – 26th November, Hindi, Prime Video
Chhorii is a psychological horror film starring Nushrratt Bharuccha as an eight-month pregnant mother-to-be, who moves to a house situated in an isolated location deep, inside a village of sugarcane fields. As she starts to settle into the house, sinister happenings start to occur around her, with a charred spirit and ghosts of three young kids tormenting her days and nights.
9. Republic – 26th November, Telugu, ZEE5
Republic arrives on streaming after a theatrical release. It is a political drama that stars Sai Dharam Tej, Aishwarya Rajesh, Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishnan. Sai Dharam Tej plays Panja Abhiram, an IAS officer who tackles the corruption in the political system and the administrative machinery.
10. Romantic – 26th November, Telugu, Aha Video
Romantic arrives on streaming after a theatrical release. It is a romantic drama starring Akash Puri and Ketika Sharma. The duo plays star-crossed lovers in Goa, with one hitch. He is a wanted gangster. It is a drama directed by Anil Paduri, and also stars Ramya Krishnan as a relentless police officer out to capture the wanted criminal.
