Amazon Prime Video has lined up a BIG treat for film buffs this week – a week that has a long weekend coming up owing to the Good Friday holiday on Friday, 2nd April. And it’s none other than ‘TENET’, the much awaited sci-fi spy thriller created by Christopher Nolan! What’s more, Amazon Prime Video will premiere TENET in four languages – the English language original, and Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions!
TENET released in theatres in India bang in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Very few people braved the fear of the virus, and caught the film in theatres. Most thriller film buffs have been waiting for when TENET will arrive on streaming in India, so they can watch the much-talked-about film.
TENET has received widespread critical and audience acclaim across the globe. It comes from celebrated and venerated filmmaker, auteur Christopher Nolan, who’s got films like Inception, Interstellar, and the Dark Knight films to his name.
TENET stars John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, Robert Pattinson, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh and our very own Dimple Kapadia in crucial roles. Parts of the film have even been shot in Mumbai.
The film took the critics and audiences by storm for its stellar performances, intriguing screenplay, layered plot, stunning cinematography, and brilliant high-octane action sequences. John David Washington plays an international spy who journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold into something beyond real time. Filmed across seven countries, this intense thriller, will see a time travelling protagonist risking his own life to stop the inevitable catastrophe that could be bigger than World War III and a nuclear holocaust.
Amazon Prime Video will premiere TENET across the world, in 240 countries and territories, including India, from 31st March, 2021 in English as well as Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubs.
