When Netflix announced its original Tamil film ‘Test’ starring R. Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth in lead roles, there were high anticipations that the film would do wonders. But now with just two days left for its premiere, the buzz seems to have died down for ‘Test’.
The character reveals, the teaser and trailer, in fact the whole promotional game for ‘Test’ has been on point but still the hype for the film is nowhere it should have been.
So what went wrong then?
Everything was going good for ‘Test’ until the trailer dropped and ever since then people have lost much of their expectations from the sports drama which seemed regular and nothing extraordinary or not seen before.
But then trailer is just a glimpse and a full length movie might just change the way you see it. So maybe ‘Test’ will defy it all and turn out to be something amazing as was once thought originally.
It has the ingredients: an interesting premise that’s full of emotions, drama and thrill with a great ensemble cast to support it. But whether or not ‘Test’ comes out strong on its premiere on Netflix on April 4th remains to be seen.
