In 1974, a slasher film called The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was released. It revolved around a dreaded serial killer who killed a lot of people all at once with a chainsaw.
His name was Leatherface and he was unstable, dreaded and ruthless in every possible manner.
The movie created havoc across the USA and a lot of people watched the movie even though it was terrifying.
The first part was the most terrifying and successful one while the latter ones started becoming stale and boring.
Including the first part, the series already has 8 films in total and it’ll welcome the 9th one on February 18 this year.
The makers released the official poster yesterday and will release the trailer tomorrow.
The exclusive poster for TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE is here.

For those who are wondering, it is a completely fictional series and fortunately, nothing like a chainsaw massacre has ever happened in Texas.
Regardless, it is just another example when makers try to milk the great original films for monetary purposes. It happened in the Star Wars series, The Godfather series and recently in The Matrix Resurrections.
If the upcoming Leatherface will be able to terrify the audience can’t be said. But we just hope that this 9th instalment is nothing like the 9th part of Fast And Furious.
The movie will release on Netflix.
