The official teaser for ‘The 8 Show’ is out now. It is a Netflix original and slated for the Korean content division of the platform. It is going to premiere on the platform on the 17th of May this year.
‘The 8 Show’ tells the story of eight individuals who are trapped into an eight storied building. They soon get to know that they are inside a reality show or somewhat like a game. The game seems to be quite inconsequential and trivial initially, but they soon get to know that there is a huge amount of money involved in it. They are now interested in the game, and now they try to play it sincerely but they soon realize that what they are involved in is a huge trap and their lives are at a risk.
The 8 Show follows the style of ‘Squid Game’ in terms of plotline and the storytelling and now we will only be able to see how different an approach the makers can keep after the release of the show. The teaser looks intriguing and there is a huge fandom of Korean Dramas growing in India as well as all over the world. So it will not be very difficult for the show to reach its expected audiences, even if there are some similarities with some other show.
