The Adam Project is perhaps the buzziest title for Netflix globally. It was promoted immensely just like Don’t Look Up and Red Notice. If you see the charts at Netflix Top 10 then the film is the most-viewed film on Netflix for the last two weeks globally.
Then what is missing in the views? If you remember then Red Notice and Don’t Look Up were even more talked about after the release. The factor behind it has to be the insane views that it was garnering. Unlike Don’t Look Up which was an exceptionally brilliant film, Red Notice was criticised for its illogical action and cliched plot.
But the Gal Gadot starrer definitely suited with the taste of public and it helped to reap views. Surprisingly, Ryan Reynolds was also a part of that film.
Regardless, The Adam Project has failed to generate views that could be compared to giant titles like Don’t Look Up or Red Notice. Unlike Don’t Look Up which climbed up the charts of the top 10 most viewed movies in the 2nd week itself, The Adam Project is still waiting to grace the charts.
The reason behind this has to be the content which lacked mass appeal unlike Red Notice and also it was not that great unlike Don’t Look Up. So long story short, stars are not the only factor that works, it has to be rich in terms of content as well.
