As per the reports of Disney, the third season of ‘The Bear’ has garnered a total of 5.4 million views within four days of its premiere. It is a huge sum and shows huge growth in popularity for the show. The view is counted for Hulu, Disney+ in the USA and international territories where Hulu does not stream.
The view count has made a new record. It is the biggest premiere for any scripted Hulu show ever. If unscripted shows are included, that would make ‘The Bear’ The third largest premiere on Hulu.
According to Disney, the third season of the show has gained 24% more views than the 2nd season in the same amount of time. The 2nd season too had a 70% growth from the first one.
The word of mouth has acted out very well for the show and the makers have not disappointed the fans. The show gets better and better and there is no way it is going to end anytime soon. There are more records and awards coming for ‘The Bear’ while fans wait eagerly.
The show is created by Christopher Storer who is also the showrunner. ‘The Bear’ stars Jeremy Allen White in the lead role who plays a young masterful chef who comes back from a high paying job to manage his family business. After his brother’s suicide, he has to handle the business, his family and personal relationships at the same time while his kitchen crew turns out to be the friends he needs. The show is wonderfully written and acted, and there is no doubt that it deserves the popularity it is getting now.
