After the release of Jacky Bhagnani’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ there were accusations on the producers of not paying the actors and crew members on time.
Vashu Bhagnani and his son Jacky Bhagnani have produced movies like ‘Ganapath’, ‘Bell Bottom’, ‘Filmistaan’, ‘Welcome To Karachi’ and more under the banner of Pooja Entertainment. The production house has been in the business for quite a long time and there have been several instances of such accusations.
Some actors from the movies have said that they only give due dates and do not even respond in time. As the actors had not been paid they said some of them had to even sell houses to pay medical bills.
The crew has accused the producers of selling off their office space which was the only way of contacting them. As the last few films of Pooja Entertainment did not work out very well, according to the reports, they had to sell the office building. Meanwhile, Vashu Bhagnani has said that they are not running anywhere. The building has not been sold and it is just being reconstructed and everybody will get their due payments soon. Vashu Bhagnani says he is available to talk to and will entertain anybody who has not been paid properly.
