The Book of Boba Fett Episode 2: Do You Know the Black Wookie?

The second episode of The Book of Boba Fett is out now on the Disney+ streaming service. Or should we say it Disney+ Hotstar for the Indian audience? Call it whatever you want. But did you notice something special about that episode? Another character stole all the limelight in that one. Do you know that character? It was a black Wookie named Krrsantan. Let’s find out more about this unique Wookie.

First, let us inform you that Krrsantan doesn’t share any family or friendly relation with the one and only Chewbacca. The former is a Wookie with a tarnished image. He left his home planet, Kashyyyk, to search for a better life in the galaxy. His ruthlessness, savage fighting skills, and knowledge of cybernetic enhancement put him under the wing of the notorious Xonti Brothers. Soon, he rose as one of the most lethal bounty hunters in the history of the Star Wars canon.

Krrsantan has worked with notable figures like Han Solo, Jabba the Hutt, and Boba Fett. He first appeared in the renowned Darth Vader comic book series (2015). This series takes place right after the events of Episode IV: A New Hope. Vader wanted a solution to a problem. That’s why he hired Jabba to choose a couple of bounty hunters to execute his plans. And those lethal bounty hunters were none other than Boba Fett and Krrsantan. However, Vader kept his plan a secret from Emperor Palpatine. We wonder why!

After Vader’s demise, Krrsantan joined Doctor Aphra’s crew. The latter is a famous archaeologist working for the underworld. Krrsantan’s experiences with Aphra were not that good, turning him into a more bitter creature than before. Additionally, he is one of the fan-favourite characters in the Star Wars franchise.

Krrsantan has made his live-action debut with the second episode of The Book of Boba Fett. Will we get more information about the character in the series? Watch it to find out!
