Excitement is building among fans of the hit series “The Boys” as Amazon has unveiled the first promo images for the highly anticipated Season 4. While an official premiere date has yet to be announced, the images provide a tantalizing glimpse into what’s in store for viewers when the show returns in 2024.
The fourth season of “The Boys” will pick up the narrative from where “Gen V” Season 1 left off, just ahead of a crucial in-universe presidential election. The central characters, including the formidable Homelander and the tenacious Billy Butcher, are poised for a new chapter of intense conflict and intrigue.
In the first-look images released by Amazon, the contrast between the two sides of this impending battle is striking. Homelander and the Vought supes appear triumphant, standing stoically amidst a cascade of red, white, and blue confetti, suggesting their Election Day victory. In contrast, Butcher is depicted solemnly gazing at a floor strewn with confetti and balloons, an image that hints at a significant setback for The Boys.
While an official premiere date for Season 4 is yet to be announced, fans can take comfort in knowing that filming has been completed, with post-production efforts well underway. Showrunner Eric Kripke recently revealed that “most of the editing is done,” and the team is deeply involved in the final stages of music and visual effects. The marketing team is also gearing up for the season’s launch, indicating that a premiere date should be announced soon. And we may safely assume it to be the first quarter of 2024.
Stay tuned for updates on the official release date, and everything that follows.
