Netflix has unveiled the official trailer of The Crown Season 6 Part 1. The latest clip puts the entire royal family into the backseat and dedicates all its attention to Princess Diana (played by Elizabeth Debicki), who is seen struggling with her name and fame. We also see her constantly getting hounded by paparazzi. Ultimately, the trailer leads to her tragic car crash in which she lost her life, along with her lover, Dodi Fayed.
Season 6 will focus on the years 1997-2005 and will come out in two parts. The first four episodes will premiere on Netflix on November 16. And the remaining six episodes will arrive on the streaming platform on December 14.
Prince Charles (played by Dominic West) hails Diana’s death as “the biggest thing that any of us has ever seen.” He also tries to interact with her mother after Diana’s death. The late monarch asks him, “What do people want from me?” To which he replies, “For you to be the mother to the nation.”
Debuting back in 2016, The Crown is now considered one of Netflix’s flagship shows, earning 69 Emmy nominations in total and winning five out of them.
