The reviews and responses for the second season of The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives are out. The show features four women who are/were wives of Bollywood celebrities and how they live their lives lavishly.
The overall concept of the show is problematic on so many levels that it ultimately comes out to be a cringe-fest.
But it didn’t even need an explanation because the first season was nothing less in terms of cringe and toxicity. It was obvious that the series would be trashy, still Netflix left no efforts wasted for investing in the second season.
The thing is, Netflix doesn’t understand the difference in taste between the American audience and the Indian masses. Just because The Kardashians work on Hulu doesn’t mean that The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives would reciprocate that success on Netflix India.
Not more than a handful of people are interested in the show and yet we are seeing a renewed season.
Regardless, if you are wondering what people are saying then Netflix doesn’t bother to care. After getting immense appreciation for Delhi Crime Season 2, they are again getting trolled due to this show.
It is as if Netflix has deaf ears for the audience. It doesn’t seem to listen to what the people are screaming.
@karanjohar, what do you smoke in the morning to make shows like #FabulousLivesOfBollywoodWives? I just realized, you people are actually very poor in reality just try VERY hard to look rich. Ironically that's the fastest way to get poor so keep going! #BoycottBollywood pic.twitter.com/G0am97h0BU
