Prime Video has shattered the internet with the announcement of Raj & DK’s The Family Man Season 3, marking the return of Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari. The streamer has unveiled the first official poster for the forthcoming season via social media. The accompanying caption simply read, “New Season. Coming Soon.”
Srikant Tiwari (Bajpayee), a seemingly ordinary middle-class man, secretly works as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional branch of the National Investigation Agency.

According to some online reports, the events of Season 3 could take place in India’s Northeast region, and our beloved protagonist may face new dangers on a mission linked to China and insurgent groups.
Like the previous two seasons, the upcoming chapter will also bring plenty of funny moments, intense action sequences, and touch on important political themes.
Speaking of Season 3’s plot, it’s important to note that Indian creators have, for too long, stayed away from focusing on India’s Northeast. These regions have existed on the fringes of mainstream media, often reduced to stereotypes or simply overlooked. But a significant shift is underway in the booming Indian OTT space, with Prime Video leading the charge.
The plot of The Family Man Season 3, set in the Northeast, follows closely on the heels of Paatal Lok Season 2’s deep dive into Nagaland, signalling a welcome new chapter in Indian storytelling.
