Apple Original Films has just revealed the first look poster and release date for its buzzy film ‘The Family Plan’. The Mark Wahlberg starrer premieres on Apple TV Plus on 15th December, 2023.
Mark Wahlberg’s ‘The Family Plan’ is a comedy and action drama, which features the star as an assassin-turned-family man. The first poster for the the film is suitably cute and funny, in keeping with its comedy genre. It depicts Mark Wahlberg as the typical middle-class dad, juggling two teenaged kids, a toddler and an exasperated wife. Michelle Monaghan plays his wife in the film.
The interesting part about ‘The Family Plan’ is that Mark Wahlberg’s Dan is a former assassin, currently living the life of a quiet family man and father. The suburban dad must take his family on the run when his past catches up with him.
The official synopsis of ‘The Family Plan’ reads – “A former top assassin living incognito as a suburban dad must take his unsuspecting family on the run when his past catches up to him.”
The film is directed by Simon Cellan Jones, who’s currently basking in the success of his Netflix series ‘The Diplomat’. ‘The Family Plan’ is written by David Coggeshall, and produced by Mark Wahlberg, under his production company, Municipal Pictures. Skydance Media is the co-producer of ‘The Family Plan’.
Besides Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan, ‘The Family Plan’ stars Saïd Taghmaoui, Maggie Q, Zoe Colletti, Van Crosby, Ciarán Hinds, Miles Doleac and Joyner Lucas in pivotal roles.
