Recently, Tamil films ‘Pongmal Vandhal’ produced by Suriya and starring Jyothika, ‘Penguin’ by Keerthy Suresh and produced by Karthik Subbaraj were streamed by Amazon Prime Video.
Meanwhile Dhanush’s much awaited ‘Jagame Thanthiram’ which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. ‘Santhosh Narayan’ has composed the music and it stars ‘Aishwarya Lekshmi, ‘Kalaiarasan’, ‘Sanchana Natarajan’, ‘Joju George’ and ‘James Cosmo’.
The film which was initially set for a May release this year was offered a huge amount for a Netflix release. It is under S.Sashikanth banner ‘Y Not’ studios. Recently there were reports that Dhanush agreed for a Netflix release but it is now known that it was just a rumour and that at the moment everything is under wraps.
Whether we get a theatre release or an OTT one, we hope to see Dhanush shine soon yet again.
