Hello The Flash fans!!! Season 7 of our beloved scarlet speedster is finally upon us after all the wait over the past year. CW released an official second trailer for the 7th season mere hours ago and by the looks of it, the season opener is going to be a hell of a ride. The new trailer is just over a minute long but still contains moments to be excited about meeting the team flash. With Iris still in the mirrorverse it is upto ‘Team Flash’ to save her from Mirror Mistress aka Eva McCullough.
The trailer shows that Iris is still in the mirrorverse and with the last season’s cliffhangers it is pretty much clear that Team Flash knows about it too. They discover that Mirror Mistress is on the loose in Central City and can not only control mirrors but also every reflecting surface (hello star labs!).
Barry is struggling to find his groove with his speed pretty much gone and with his “lightning rod” Iris too, trapped it is very difficult for him to think clear. But he manages all his strength to find his wife and hatches a plan in order to capture Mirror Mistress. With his speed, which is only 1% left he decides to use it for the best. Also we’ll be seeing Killer Frost back who was written off last season due to Danielle Panabaker’s maternity leave.
Barry finds out how to open a portal to the mirror world and find Iris who is trapped in her own mind’s hallucinations of Barry and her. She is slowly losing her mind and its upon The Flash to rescue her safely. But that’s not all from the trailer. We see the iconic “Run Barry Run” line from none other than Tom Cavanagh. Now it becomes interesting so as to whether this “Wells” is Harry, Nash or Eobard Thawne aka Reverse Flash himself. Well, it would be so interesting if we’ll be getting a shared screen space between Eobard and Barry.
Also, season 7’s initial episodes will be the continuity of season 6 which was cut short due to the pandemic. Hence, season 7 will have its own separate storyline and big bad (most probably real Godspeed) but for now, Team Flash is going to deal with Mirror Mistress.
By the looks of it, the season opener is going to be filled with a lot of emotions. The Flash season 7 arrives on The CW from March 2nd 2021.
