Here comes the much-awaited trailer of director Kabir Khan’s The Forgotten Army. It tracks the journey of the Indian National Army which fought for India’s Independence during the Second World War.
If the teaser showed us a glimpse of the grandeur in store, the trailer further highlights the sweeping takes present in the series. The Forgotten Army the journey of Lieutenant Sodhi. His army and the passion for the country they share along with the love and friendship form the core content.
The trailer shows the whole thing breathtakingly and strikingly. Kabir Khan seems to be in fine form in the mini-series. It was a documentary on the same backdrop that led to his debut as a filmmaker more than two decades ago.
The Forgotten Army stars Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari Vagh in the mail roles. The former is hoping the series would be a big turning point for him ala Uri – The Surgical Strike for his brother Vicky Kaushal. The rest of the cast too comprises of well-acclaimed names from theatre and parallel cinema.
