Netflix is bringing Mark Greaney’s novel, “The Gray Man” to live now. It is apparently going to be the most expensive production that Netflix has invested in and it most definitely looks like something that will need a grand stage for it. The film will be headed by The Russo Brothers of The Avengers Endgame and judging it from their past projects, it sure seems like something we need to look forward to.
Latest news has flown in regarding the castings of the movie now. The news portal, ‘What’s on Netflix’, has reported that two new actors have joined the team of the already existing team of actors that are working on the movie. This time it is Billy Bob Thornton and Alfre Woodward. It is being said that Billy Bob Thornton might play Sir Donald Fitzroy, while Woodward is being contemplated for Maurice Cahil. Though as per the reports, there hasn’t been any kind of confirmation by Netflix at the moment.
‘The Gray Man’ already has an impeccable cast that includes Ana de Armas, Julia Butters, Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, and Dhanush. The leads around which the entire story revolves will be played by Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling. Evans is set to play the role of Lloyd Hansen, while Ryan Gosling will play Court Gentry. This action thriller follows these two characters around the world, as they go after one another.
The Gray Man, whose budget is said to be around $200M at the moment, is said to go on floor from the 18th of January, 2021. The movie will be shot around the world in multiple locations that include Los Angeles, Budapest, Thailand and France. The production has been delayed a lot at the moment due to the pandemic that took over the world last year. If things go like it is planned, the filming will be completed by May 2021.
