‘The Haunting’ trailer begins with a girl being interrogated by a police officer for a murder case. To which she replies that it’s the evil spirits that do it and not her. She tells her how she has been haunted by them for some time now and they get what they want and don’t leave.
Watching and listening through a soundproof glass window one other police officer talks about how evil spirits sometime chose some people as their medium and that this happens in five stages. One, when they call; second, when they appear; third when they touch; fourth, when you accept and as he tells the fifth viewers get a horrifying view of the girl as she herself becomes like one deadly looking ghost.
Written, directed and produced by Tanveer Bookwala, ‘The Haunting’ stars Erica J Fernandes, Prakruti Mishra and Gul Panag in pivotal roles.
