“People hate happy women.” Prime Video has dropped a brand new trailer of The Idea of You, starring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine. The upcoming rom-com is based on Robinne Lee’s 2017 novel of the same name.
The opening moments of the latest trailer show how Solene (Anne Hathaway) meets Hayes (Nicholas Galitzine) at Coachella. The latter reveals that he is a member of the popular band, August Moon. Soon, we see Hayes dropping a visit to Solene’s art store where he expresses his romantic feelings for her. Solene warns him of her old age, but Hayes does not seem to care about that.
Based on Robinne Lee’s bestselling novel, The Idea of You revolves around Solene, a divorced mother in her 40s who takes her daughter to Coachella at her ex-husband’s request. However, things take a wild turn after she crosses paths with Hayes, one of the members of the popular August Moon band. As their unexpected romance kicks off, Solene must learn to balance her duties to her teenage daughter, her career, and the side effects of dating a celebrity.
Apart from the leading duo of Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine, The Idea of You has other talents like Ella Rubin, Reid Scott, Annie Mumolo, Perry Mattfeld, Jordan Aaron Hall, Jaiden Anthony, and more.
