America’s Television Royalty the Kardashians, will not be returning in 2022 on their world famous reality television series Keeping Up With The Kardashians. After what will be 20 seasons, Kim Kardashian has announced that the 14-year long running television show is coming to an end next year.
Kim made her announcement on Instagram on Tuesday (8th September), where she penned a message, which begins her thanking her fans who have stuck with them through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children, during the last 14 years and hundreds of episodes. She also thanked Ryan Seacrest for believing in them, their network E! and the production team of Bunim/Murray who documented numerous hours of their lives. She expressed her never ending gratitude for everyone involved with the show over the years, as it shaped the lives and careers of her and her family for the years to come.
The show began in 2007, where most of the family members were relatively unknown at the time. Kim herself had come on a few episodes for her friend’s Paris Hilton’s reality show while her father Robert Kardashian, was known for defending OJ Simpson at his infamous murder trial. He step father at the time was an Olympic Gold medal winning decathlete. The show has been critically panned over the many years it has run but has still enjoyed huge ratings and been one of the most successful shows on channel E!.
The last season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians will air early next year in 2021.
