Zee5 has dropped the trailer for its upcoming original series ‘The Kashmir Files: Unreported’ and it tells the real stories by real people who faced the hardships in Jammu and Kashmir at the time when terror had taken over the area. Helmed by National Award winning filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, ‘The Kashmir Files: Unreported’ will premiere soon only on Zee5.
‘The Kashmir Files: Unreported’ is a series that documents the shocking, eye opening and heart wrenching tales directly from the real voices of real people who went through such ordeal. People are seen talking about how terror spread amongst kashmiri pandits throughout Kashmir who were brutally killed, raped and tortured.
Once considered heaven on earth, Kashmir had transformed into a war-like zone due to its political landscape. ‘The Kashmir Files: Unreported’ tries to to tell the story of what led to the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits and the eventual removal of Article 370.
Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri serves as the series director for ‘The Kashmir Files: Unreported’ alongside serving as its anchor together with his wife and actress Pallavi Joshi. The show comes after the tremendous yet controversial success of Ranjan’s 2022 film ‘The Kashmir Files’ that presented a fictional storyline centred around the 1990 exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir.
