Zee5 has reportedly won the OTT rights for the film ‘The Kerala Story,’ featuring Adah Sharma in the lead role. This strategic move by Zee5 promises to bring the film directly to viewers’ living rooms after the theatrical success.
According to reliable media sources, Zee5 has successfully outbid other streaming platforms in securing the digital distribution rights for ‘The Kerala Story.’
Earlier in an interview with a media house, Adah Sharma hinted at the film’s digital release. However, recent reports indicate a slightly adjusted release window, with the digital premiere of ‘The Kerala Story’ now expected to take place soon.
However, Zee5 and the film’s production team have yet to announce the official release. Only then can we have the proper release date.
We do realize that The Kerala Story is a politically charged film that is certainly gonna create a political drama around it. No wonder it will attract social media trolling and even cancellations because Zee5 also hosts “The Kashmir Files” which is on the same road of political thought.
