Korean Drama series ‘The Last Empress’ is now streaming on MX Player in 6 Indian languages. It is now available in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Bengali. And it will soon be available in Kannada too.
‘The Last Empress’ is set in an alternate universe where South Korea is still under a constitutional monarchy in 2018. A musical actress who marries the emperor of South Korea gets involved in the power struggle of the monarchs and she also discovers sinister secrets about the royal family. She teams up with a bodyguard who had sworn to take revenge of his mother’s murder to uncover the mysteries and crimes of the royal family.
The show has a cast of actors like Jang Na-ra, Choi Jin-hyuk, Shin Sung-rok, Lee Elizah, Stephanie Lee and many others. The first episode of the show premiered on November 21st, 2018.
The show got multiple nominations for various awards and got many of them, like the SBS Drama awards for excellence in the category of Best acting.there are total 52 episodes of the show and it has gained huge popularity at the time of its release.
