The Vikings were a unique civilization with honour and courage but were also driven by a sort of bloodlust where they decimated most of the lands on which they set their eyes. This series has received a lot of acclaim for its excellent performances and great cinematography, and it returns one more time to Amazon prime to transport us back to their world.
This series not only provided for an engaging storyline but also gave us a kind of documentary vibe into the lives of the Vikings, how they thought, how they fought, how they lived but more importantly how they conquered. There is a sense of pride that every Viking has when they go on war is showcased in the latest trailer that has been released on amazon prime’s YouTube handle via dialogues like “For a Viking death is bliss.”
Valhalla is the destination, and the Vikings indeed leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of it. This remarkable historical saga will finally come to an end and has gained a significant following amongst the masses as it has a rating of 8.5 on IMDB and one of its most appreciated episodes ‘Vikings: To the Gates!” even has a rating of 9.3.
Vikings is first slated to release on 30th December on Amazon Prime video and will later air on History Channel which has been its home since its very inception. The sheer grandiosity with which this series was created left many people in awe.
