JioCinema has released the official teaser for its new series ‘The Magic Of Shiri’. It is directed by Birsa Dasgupta, who is a known name in the Bengali film industry and has directed films like ‘Obhishopto Nighty’, ‘Shob Bhuturey’, ‘Mukhosh’ and ‘Gangster’.
The Magic Of Shiri is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Tanveer Bookwala. It stars Divyanka Tripathi in the lead role. Javed Jaffery will also be seen in a negative role. Divyanka Tripathi plays a popular magician and she wants to rise up in the field of Magic and charms, which is dominated by males. She grows as a successful magician but gets stuck at a point and cannot get out of a trucky situation imposed by the envious male magicians.
Birsa Dasgupta’s entry to the Hindi industry is being awaited by fans for quite some time. He is popular name in the genres kf mystery and daek comedy. Divyanka Tripathi, on the other hand, has a separate fan base for popular serials like ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’.
There will be other actors like Namit Das, Nishank Verma, Nilu Kohli, Parmeet Sethi and more. The teaser looks quite good and looks better than most average shows JioStudios has produced recently. It will also be streaming for free from the 13th of July.
If you are a avid fan of the art of magic and stories of magicians and wizards, you are going to like the series too. It will also record the debut of a wonderful young director in the Hindi industry.
