The case of Prime Video is strange. Although it is not an Indian streaming platform, its hold in the Indian market is much stronger than that in America. Perhaps that’s the reason, the foreign series appearing on this platform doesn’t create too much of a buzz. We understand that, and thus we are bringing this story about a must-watch series.
Have you watched the Quentin Tarantino masterpiece called Inglourious Basterds? You might have because it is extremely popular and easily one of the best films ever made.
If you have watched that then you would remember the evil character of Hans Landa. He was played by Christoph Waltz and it is undoubtedly one of the best performances ever. He later worked in Tarantino’s own Django Unchained where he nailed the character of Dr. King Schultz.
He won Oscars for both performances. Well, the same Christoph Waltz is leading The Consultant.
He plays the character of a consultant named Regus Patoff. He is the boss of a video game company and forces his employees to go ahead in the corporate race. Things go out of hand in the same race and the overall premise is highly interesting.
It reminds us of Waltz’s performance in Horrible Bosses 2 where he played a similar character. The Consultant is available to stream in English and Hindi on Prime Video.
