Prime Video has just announced some exciting news for fans of “The Office”. The Australian version of the beloved workplace comedy is set to debut on October 18, and they’ve given us a first-look image of Felicity Ward, who will be the first female lead in the franchise.
Yes, a new reboot with a female lead.
In this new version, Felicity Ward plays Hannah Howard, the managing director of a packaging company called Flinley Craddick. But, her branch is going to be shut down, and all the employees will have to work from home. Instead of accepting the news, Hannah goes into “survival mode.” She makes big promises, all to try and keep her “work family” together in the office. The staff goes along with her plans, even though they know her ideas are simply not gonna work. They all work hard to meet impossible goals but chaos and reality hits soon.
The show casts Edith Poor, Steen Raskopoulos, Shari Sebbens, and many others. There are also some special guest appearances by actors like Susie Youssef and Rick Donald.
This Australian version of “The Office” is the 13th global adaptation of the series.
It follows in the footsteps of the original BBC version that aired in the early 2000s, starring Ricky Gervais. However, most people think that the original version of the show is the US one starring Steve Carell as Michael Scott and ran for nine successful seasons.
But, people are fed up. The American version is so good and popular that they are simply not interested in anything.
As for reactions, what are the people saying?
Oh, they are simply hating it. And they are brutally trolling it. People can’t tolerate another addition to the franchise.
Let’s tell you about the reactions.
It’s not even out and i feel like it’s going to be the worst shit ever
