The office follow up is set to cast two most talented actors of this age, Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore joined the team of the follow up.
Created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, “The Office” was a massive sitcom that ruled British tv. But, the American adaptation created by Greg Daniels along with Gervais and Merchant miraculously surpassed the British one with more than 200 episodes. Which included more world buildings, more realism and more romance.
The “Ex Machina” star Domhnall Gleeson and the “White Lotus” actress Sabrina Impacciatore are here to enrich the cast of the new follow up.
The Office was so widely appreciated because of its depiction of real life, people are going to the office, giving driving exams leading day to day life , doing daily things, which made it fantastically relatable to the British and American audience, as they got something to relate to.
In one interview Ricky Gervais said that the office is made out of real life, when he used to work, he used to observe people and how they react and how they will do and say things, he inculcated everything in “The Office”.
Now the follow up is not going to be a reboot of the series. Creators Greg Daniels and Michael Korman haven’t revealed many details about the project, which is being produced by Universal Television.
The series is said to tell a whole brand new story that takes place within the same universe, which the fans are familiar with.
Since 2013, fans have been begging for a new season but, of course the production house said that they won’t continue it. But, years later now, they understood that “The Office” is not something they “CAN” it should go on, but not with reboots but with follow ups and sequels.
