Queen- Teaser - MX Original SeriesThe race is on to get the first visual representation out for the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister biopic. Recently, we saw the makers of the movie titled Thalaivi come up with a first look image and motion poster, and now we have a glimpse of Queen, a web series developed on her.

The teaser of Queen follows the same trajectory as that of the motion poster of the movie Thalaivi in dividing the career of Jayalalitha, before entering politics and after. However, the similarity ends there as the focus in Queen seems to be done in a different way.

A source closely following the drama since its inception and who wished to remain anonymous, told Binged.com:

Queen and Thalaivi will have a lot of difference in the portrayal even if the overall content might be similar. One can’t change what is already existing and is part of history. Only the presentation differs

The trailer, posted below, will further cement this impression.

Another important thing to note here is that the older getup of Ramya Krishna, playing Jayalalitha, has not been revealed. A curiosity is maintained until the trailer arrives on December 5th.

Take a look at the teaser below. Gautham Menon and Prasad Murugesan direct the web series Queen. A release date for Queen has not been set yet. It will be available to stream on MX Player.
