The Railway Men, this mini-series on Netflix India is creative wave never seen before. The series starring KK Menon, R. Madhavan, Babil Khan, and Divyendu Sharma was released back in November and since then has been getting insanely great reception.
Normally, no Indian series even gets to be featured in the list let alone staying there for quite some time. Well, The Railway Men has done the deed and there is a new record at hand. The Railway Men has been constantly trending on Netflix India and is the only Indian series that has been trending on Netflix for three weeks.
And where?
Netflix releases the weekly list of most watched series and films Globally. In that list, we usually see foreign films and series occupying the space. But, The Railway Men is maintaining a place there for three weeks in a row. It is a great deal as Netflix must have an idea of what actually works with the audience.
There has been a lot of improvement in the kind of series that Netflix India makes. Obviously, not making series like The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives is a big deal but series like Kohrra, Trial By Fire, Scoop, and Kala Pani have helped a lot.
