The official trailer for ‘Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power Season 2’ is out now. This is the prequel series for the much popular book and film series ‘Lord Of The Rings’.
The trailer is pretty good and it looks visually stunning. In the second season, we will see the hard earned peace among the various realms will be shattered as the villainous Sauron returns to Middle Earth. The first season of the show went on to be one of the biggest webseries of all times. Now the second season will be building upon its story and carry forward the tale of Middle Earth thousands of years before the original ‘Lord Of The Rings’ stories. Here, after being cast out by Galadriel, the dark lord Sauron returns with an intention to rebuild his power with the creation of many Rings of Power, while the forces of good try to stop him.
Various other elements were seen in the trailer that have intrigued the audiences. Some of them were the army of Barrow-wights, Hill-troll Damrod, the monstrous Sea Worm, young Shelob etc.
J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay are the showrunners of ‘Rings Of Power’ season 2. The cast will include Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Ben Daniels, Charles Edwards, Kevin Eldon, Trystan Gravelle, Sam Hazeldinan, Ciarán Hinds, Ema Horvath etc. Most of them will be reprising their roles from the first season. There will be eight episodes in all. Four of them are directed by Charlotte Brändström and the other four are yet to be announced.
