The official trailer of ‘The Road’ is out now and Trisha Krishnan stars In another wonderful movie after the humongous success of Ponniyin Selvan. The movie is written and directed by Arun Vaseegaran. This will be his directorial debut. The Road has been produced under the banner of AAA Films. ‘The Road’ will hit the theaters on the 6th of October.
The Road tells the story of a mysterious place in the highway where accidents happen consistently killing off different people almost without fail. Trisha’s character is disturbed with the accidents and wants to investigate the case herself. But she is confronted with dangerous details. The movie is said to be based on true events. The filmmaker has clarified that the film is not a so-called female-centric film but has a story of conflict between a good woman and an evil man. The story closely follows an incident that Arun Vaseegaran witnessed in his childhood. Trisha’s character has to choose between revenge and a safe life after a drastic incident, and her choice lets the story go forward.
Apart from Trisha Krishnan, Santosh Prathap and Shabeer Kallarakkal also play important roles in the movie. Actors like Miya George, MS Bhaskar, Vivek Prasanna, Vela Ramamoorthy, Laxmi Priya are also in the cast list. The music in the movie will be fine as Sam C.S has composed the score of the film.
It has been quite a wonderful year for Trisha and all eyes are set for the release of Vijay starrer Leo, in which Trisha plays the female lead. She also has the web series ‘Brinda’ in post-production stage.
