The Screen Actors Guild Awards 2020: Streaming Services Make Deep Inroads, Find the Full List of Winners

Hollywood is in the midst of the awards season and a flurry of credible awards shows. The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards are the latest to take center stage before the mighty Academy Awards arrive in the first half of February.

The SAG Awards are different from the other awards shows, chiefly because all the voting is done by the actors themselves, and not by a panel of directors, filmmakers, and other film luminaries.

The SAG Awards 2020 was held last night, awarding the best performers in various categories, both TV and film. Established streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and HBO did really well, while new entrant Apple TV+ won a best actress award – Jennifer Aniston for The Morning Show.
