A new teaser for the upcoming movie ‘The Takedown’ directed by Louis Leterrier has been released. The movie features Omar Sy, Laurent Lafitte and Izïa Higelin along with other actors. Louis Leterrier who is known for movies like Incredible Hulk, Now You See Me and Wrath of Titans he is now back with a comedy action blockbuster. The teaser promises a full fun ride immersed in action.
Omar Sy who blesses the screen with his wit and charisma is joining as Ousmane Diakité with another talented actor Laurent Lafitte as François Monge. Both are cops in the movie. Both of them have a distinctive style on working in cases. And then they are put together to investigate a case. The movie will depict how two different cops with different styles will approach the case and how they will unravel the case.
This is the first time Omar Sly and Laurent Lafitte worked together. Omar Sly who is famous for his role in ‘The Intouchables’ has been making headlines with his role in the French TV series ‘Lupin’.
The director Louis Leterrier has previous experience on making good action movies. His movie ‘The Brothers Grimsby’ was a decent action-comedy movie just like his upcoming movie. ‘The Takedown’ will premiere on May 6 2022 in Netflix.
