Chris Pratt starrer military thriller series ‘The Terminal List’ premiered on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform last year in July. For the show’s fans who might be wondering about whether it will get renewed for a second season or not, you can all heave a sigh of relief as ‘The Terminal List’ will be getting a Season-2.
Although ‘The Terminal List’ Season-1 received mixed feedback from critics with just 39% critics score on reviews aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, it became a smash hit and received an astounding 94% audience score on the same website. The show has got a decent IMDb user rating of 7.9/10. Moreover, the series was amongst the top titles on Nielsen’s list and boasted of massive viewing hours under its belt.
Besides getting renewed for Season-2, ‘The Terminal List’ franchise is also setting up a prequel / spin-off series which will revolve around the character of Ben Edwards, a CIA operative and former Navy SEAL and ex-colleague of Chris Pratt’s James Recce. In the parent ‘The Terminal List’ series, the character was essayed by Taylor Kitsch, who will reprise his role in the yet untitled prequel. Chris Pratt’s character James Recce is also expected to make an appearance in the prequel.
The prequel series is being touted to be spy thriller which will focus on how Ben Edwards’ Navy SEAL character is recruited as a CIA operative and his journey thereafter.
The parent show ‘The Terminal List’ on Amazon Prime Video is based on a book (series) written by former Navy SEAL Jack Carr. The first book of the series was ‘The Terminal List’ while the other three being ‘True Believer’, ‘Savage Son’ and ‘The Devil’s Hand’. The plot revolves around a Navy SEAL James Reece (Chris Pratt), who uses his unique warfare skills to avenge the deaths of his team members and his loved ones.
