The super-dad of action heroes is back. Pierce Brosnan is leading all the way in the trailer of the upcoming action-heist film The Misfits.
Earlier yesterday when the trailer of The Misfits went live, we were like – what the heck is this? The trailer looked like Now You See Me meets Mission Impossible meets Fast and Furious meets Money heist. The level of craziness and action showed in the trailer was just too much handle!
The story of The Misfits reportedly revolves around Richard Pace, a master architect who finds himself in the middle of a high profile gold heist in the backdrop of the Middle East with a group of happy-go-lucky mercenaries but soon the plan goes haywire and they caught up between something much larger.
The director of The Misfits, Renny Harlin, who is known for directing action films like Cliffhanger and Die Hard 2, was extremely happy having Brosnan in the cast. He said, “We are extremely excited to have him on board. I could not have hoped for a better actor to play our lead”. Apart from the former James Bond star, the film features Tim Roth, Nick Cannon, Jamie Chung, and Hermione Corfield, amongst others. The film will be produced by Highland Film Group and K.Jam Media.
As per the reports, The Misfits is scheduled to release theatrically on June 11 and will be available on digital and on-demand July 15 and we are sure fans will go into absolute frenzy after watching the trailer.
