The flagship Netflix series 1899 is now successfully running in its second week. From the makers of Dark, the series is about a ship traveling from Europe to the USA. Meanwhile the journey, it encounters Prometheus, another ship that went lost 4 months ago. After that, a series of deaths and horror starts that never seems to stop.
Regardless, the series doesn’t live up to the level of Dark but is a mind-boggling series nonetheless. Just like every week, Netflix released the watch hours with Top 10 ranking. Needless to say, the insane buzz was a huge factor in why people were excited about the series in the first place.
But reality struck and not everyone could dedicate the patience it required in the first four episodes. So, the watch hours are not that spectacular.
Even after a solid 3-day runtime, the series couldn’t surpass The Crown Season 5 which doesn’t match upto the buzz if we consider the global audience.
But we are not saying that such views are bad per se. It is just that it is a little underwhelming.
But the word of mouth might help the series reach a wider audience this week. If the series establishes any milestone this week then stay sure that we will inform you.
