Netflix has had somewhat of a dull first half of the year. This is not just us, this has been established by everyone and even the analysts. Reason? All of Netflix’s much-awaited flicks and series are scheduled for the second half of the year. Out of these, one of the most anticipated films has been “Red Notice”. The movie has been teased by Netflix a long time ago and fans have been waiting for the release and announcements for the same. Finally, Netflix has answered the prayers of fans and we now have an epic trailer that will give a glimpse of Netflix’s Red Notice.
There’s a reason fans are waiting impatiently for the movie to drop, and that is because of Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds coming together for the first time ever in this film. The trailer shows Dwayne Johnson as an Interpol agent, who is now after two of the most notorious art thieves in the world, played by Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds. Interpol has served the “Red Notice” for these two thieves and has sent their best man to get them.
The trailer tells how after lots of fight and fun banter somehow Johnson’s “Rusty”, and Reynold’s “World’s greatest con-artist” come across each other. The con artist and the agent team up and are now on the lookout for Gal Gadot’s character, who is “world’s greatest art thief”. But the chase won’t be that easy. While they go for the art thief, the agent and the con artist go through their own menacing journey filled with action, smashing, firing, shooting, kicking, and everything else that needs to be in an action thriller.
Shot with some of the beautiful backdrops of art museums, European streets, and everything, Red Notice is out and out an epic action thriller, mixed with the humor from Reynolds and Johnson’s “I am so done with this guy”. Not to mention Gal Gadot’s charm and finesse that will throughout be an epic point in the film. It has been rightly said that the movie has to be one of the biggest productions from Netflix to release this year.
Gal Gadot and Dwanye Johnson team up for the third team, after Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6. This is Gadot’s and Johnson’s first Netflix production and second for Reynolds. The movie has been delayed for a long time now, as this was scheduled for 2020 release, but everything got pushed back with the pandemic. The movie has been written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber and produced by Hiram Garcia, Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Beau Flynn, and Rawson Marshall Thurber.
Red Notice is all set to release on the 12th of November, this year.
