Another movie from Lily Gladstone has been announced now. The movie will be a remake of Ang Lee’s 1993 romantic comedy ‘The Wedding Banquet’ which is considered as a classic in homosexual film history. The movie will also star Kelly Marie Tran and she will play the love interest of Lily Gladstone.
The Wedding Banquet told the story of a young man who tries to pursue his boyfriend to marry him but in vain. Finally, he makes his close lady friend, who is a lesbian, marry him and promises her that he will help her girlfriend with her IVF treatments. The plan on a secret wedding and everything goes according to the plan up until their parents come to surprise them.
The Wedding Banquet is the film that gave Ang Lee huge international fame. The remake will be directed by Andrew Ahn. It will also star icons like Joan Chen, Youn Yuh-jung, Bowen Yang will also be there in the movie.
Lily Gladstone will also be seen in the upcoming movie ‘Jazzy’. Two more movies of the actress have been announced very recently. Co-incidentally, both ‘Ubder The Bridge’ and ‘Fancy Dance’ will portray the actress in homosexual roles.
