The Whistleblower is the new series that is available to stream on SonyLIV. In India, we have had multiple scams but few were as scary as Vyapam.
Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board popularly known as Vyapam came into the limelight in 2013. In this scam, powerful people including politicians, officials, businessmen employed imposters to write the examination papers by manipulating the exam centre.
This scam consisted of a total of 13 different exams conducted by Vyapam. The included one of the noblest professions is that of a doctor. Not only the medical entrance but other state government entrance exams were also rigged.
According to data, the overall investigation of this scam caused at least 40 unnatural deaths. But there are claims about unofficial custodial deaths that reach up to 100.
Finally, SonyLIV has decided to shed light on it. The Whistleblower is based on the same Vyapam scam.

Whether The Whistleblower based on true events will do the same magic is still sceptical but it is certainly giving us good hopes.
