Season 2 of ‘The White Lotus’ is now streaming on Disney+Hotstar. The cast includes Jennifer Coolidge, Federico Ferrante, Murray Barlett, Connie Britton, Alexandra Daddario, Fred Hechinger, Jake Lacy and many other actors in important roles.
The comedy drama follows the story of a tropical resort where the guests are exploited over the span of a week. The anthology style series will introduce new characters to the story. The story of the first season had impressed audiences and it has already created a fan base of the unique style.
The first season of ‘The White Lotus‘ got a total of five Primetime Emmy awards in major categories like best actress in a supporting role, best actor in a supporting role, outstanding writing, outstanding main title theme music and outstanding limited or anthology series. It was nominated in even more international awards in different categories and won many of them.
The show has wonderful cinematography handled by masters of the art Ben Kutchins and Xavier Grobet. The show is created, written and directed by Mike White. Mike White is a well known name in the genre of comedy and has written good stories like ‘The Emoji Movie’, ‘Mamma Dallas’, ‘School Of Rock’, ‘Pasadena’, ‘The Good Girl’, ‘Orange County’ and many more.
The series has wonderful performances just like its first season as you would have guessed. There are new character introductions too. One more good thing about ‘The White Lotus’ is that it is short and does not take up much of your time. You can binge watch all the episodes in a very short time.
